FIX Engine

The Financial Information Exchange (FIX) Protocol is a message standard developed to facilitate the electronic exchange of information related to securities transactions. It is intended for use between trading partners wishing to automate communications (http://www.fixprotocol.org)

The scope of this project is to provide FIX Interface to Carlin Execution System (ES). This involves, developing a server, to which clients will be connecting and placing orders, getting execution reports and requesting order status through FIX protocol. This server in turn will be connecting to Carlin execution back end, to route the client orders through Carlin Trading Protocol, here onwards called CTP. The CTP protocol is implemented by CTP Framework, which is used internally in Carlin for messaging.
